A Georgia man was reportedly shot in front of his girlfriend and killed for being too loud by a youngster, police said.

The dispute started after now-22-year-old Sincere Rush approached Bradford and complained that the latter was being too loud and disturbed his sleep, WSB-TV reported.

Investigators learned that Bradford and his girlfriend were eating pizza and chatting in a car when Rush approached them.

The incident happened in front of the Clifton Church Road home, where multiple tenants lived.

The DeKalb County District Attorney’s Office claimed that when confronting Bradford, Rush said, "Y’all know I sleep right here, right?"

Bradford's girlfriend, who resided in the complex, claimed to police that Rush's appearance was sudden.

The DA's office claimed that after Bradford got out of the car to explain to Rush that they were not being too loud, he got shot.

"Rush called 911 and claimed Bradford had approached him aggressively and that he shot Bradford in self-defense," the DA’s office said. "Surveillance video from the carport, however, captured audio and video of the murder. The footage showed defendant Rush went to the carport with a gun and Bradford was unarmed during the exchange."

The case went to trial, and a DeKalb County jury recently found Rush guilty of malice murder, felony murder, aggravated assault, and possessing a firearm during the commission of a crime, WSBTV reported. He is scheduled to be sentenced on July 10.
