Lego toys have been the reason for many children's happiness, but in the case of a particular adult from Arizona, it became the cause of their congestion. Andi Norton, could not believe their eyes when they had in their hands a Lego piece that had been inside them for almost three decades ago, PEOPLE reported.

On their doctor's suggestion, Norton had been snorting every day in their shower to help them with their medical conditions. During the whole process, they felt something hard come out of their nostrils, and were shocked when they examined the small rock-like thing.

Norton, who goes by the name of Ben Havoc, shared on their social media that at the age of "six or so" they had shoved Lego pieces in their nose, PEOPLE reported. Their mom took out some using tweezers and believed that she had gotten all the pieces out. Norton believes one piece remained lodged up there for almost three decades, and appeared when they had turned 32.

The Lego piece came out due to snorting, which Norton was doing under a doctor's suggestion, PEOPLE reported. "My doctor has told me, with the dry hot summer months, it's really helpful to blow your nose while you're in the shower, because of the humidity of the steam and everything," Norton shared in the clip.

Initially, when the piece came out, Norton thought it was a rock or tooth, PEOPLE reported. After spending some time cleaning the piece, the memory regarding the toy came rushing to their mind.  "After cleaning it off, the way the Lego memory came rushing back to me was kind of like the movie Ratatouille when the food critic gets transported in his mind to his childhood. I immediately had to show my partners!" they stated.

For the last many years Norton had been suffering from congestion, which they didn't take any special note of since they had been suffering from similar ailments since their childhood, PEOPLE reported. But, now they believe that the Lego piece had a role when it came to their issues breathing through their nose.

"My whole life I've had sinus sensitivity, allergies, and issues with congestion," Norton explained, Newsweek reported. "Since I am allergic to cats, dogs, grass, many of the native trees and dust, and I've always been exposed to one or more of these things, I lived my life assuming any congestion issues were just simply caused by the allergies."

Norton has decided to keep the Lego piece as a keepsake, PEOPLE reported. Ultimately they are glad that the snorting helped them to remove the root cause of their congestion. "I can breathe out of this side of my nose now, and it's fantastic," Norton said. "I haven't been able to do that since I was a child."
