A couple in Alabama has been arrested after their 2-year-old daughter was found naked in front of a neighbor’s home and then tested positive for cocaine, according to authorities.

On July 15, police said a neighbor found the 2-year-old girl naked and disorientated outside an apartment in Daphne, according to WALA.

Police captain Reginald Ardis told WALA the child may have been “alone and unattended, unclothed…completely unclothed” for at least 20 minutes.

The child was also suffering from heat exposure and dehydration, officials said.

Medical crews arrived at the scene when the toddler’s parents, 23-year-old Tyler Still and 21-year-old Hannah Straszheim, were located, authorities said.

The child was taken to a local hospital and staff subsequently notified authorities that she tested positive for cocaine, WALA reported.

Officers searched Still and Straszheim's home and reportedly found a stash of drugs and guns that were within the child’s reach, police said.

Ardis noted the apartment was “in a pretty severe condition of disarray."

Officers allegedly found cocaine, some of which was in the child’s bedroom in plain sight, more than 100 Oxycontin pills, drug paraphernalia and three semi-automatic handguns, police said.

Still and Straszheim were arrested and charged with possession of a controlled substance, chemical endangerment of a child and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to authorities.

The pair were each being held on a $25,000 bond.
