Five people have been charged in connection to a brawl that broke out inside a 7-Eleven store in Texas after the clerk refused to sell a cigar to a minor, according to authorities.
On June 3, a clerk at the convenience store in Mesquite denied the underage girl, so she reportedly returned later with several other juveniles, according to the Mesquite Police Department.
The incident was recorded on cell phone video, which showed some of the suspects jumping over the counter, assaulting the clerk and throwing items at the employee, officials said.
Another worker tried to intervene, but police said they were then assaulted by the group.
Police announced two adults and three juveniles who were allegedly seen on video have been arrested. The two adults were identified as 19-year-old Ahliyah Turner and 21-year-old Kiara Beale.
Turner was charged with warrants from another agency and Beale was charged with assault causing bodily injury, police said.
