Elderly Oklahoma Man Phoned 911 To Report He ‘May Have Killed His Wife,’ Police Say
An Oklahoma man was arrested after he phoned 911 to report that he “may have killed his wife,” according to authorities.
Around 4:30 a.m. on May 5, officers responded to the home Charles Bradley shared with his wife, Sandra Bradley, and found her dead from two gunshot wounds to the chest, the Tulsa Police Department said.
Police took the shooting victim’s husband into custody and booked him on a first-degree murder charge.
“His stories really were just not really completely believable,” Lieutenant Brandon Watkins with Tulsa Police Homicide claimed, KOTV reported. “He generally agreed to all the evidence would show that he did it, but we get a lot of people who claim they black out.”
Police have not released further information about the ongoing investigation.
“When something like this happens it is not just a tragedy for the couple; they've got generations below them that are also going to be suffering,” Watkins said.
