A 19-year-old in Missouri — who authorities say was wearing an “active shooter” sweatshirt at the time of the incident — is accused of fatally shooting a man during a botched robbery.
Around 8:30 p.m. on March 31, officers were dispatched to Jetz Trampoline Park in Osage Beach in reference to a shooting, according to a probable cause affidavit obtained by LakeExpo.
Responding officers found 22-year-old David Davis shot in the chest.
The officers provided medical assistance until the shooting victim was transported to the hospital in an ambulance. Officials said Davis died from his injuries the following day.
According to the affidavit, Davis was sitting in a vehicle at the trampoline park with 32-year-old Michael Watwood when a man, later identified as Fernando Hutchinson, approached their vehicle to allegedly buy marijuana.
Hutchinson then reportedly reached in through the window, grabbed something and then took off running toward Autumn Hills apartments.
Davis and Watwood chased after Hutchinson. They split up and Davis was able to catch up to Hutchinson. Shots were fired and Davis was struck in the chest, according to police.
Hutchinson fled back to his apartment, where officers later located him, cops said.
According to the affidavit, eyewitnesses hanging out with the suspect that day told investigators Hutchinson allegedly said he was going to steal some weed after they ran out.

Investigators recovered a handgun in Hutchinson’s apartment, and video footage and witness accounts from the investigation allegedly corroborate the incident, officials said.
The affidavit states that police located Hutchinson in his apartment wearing dark pants and a sweatshirt that read “Active Shooter.”
