An after-school brawl at a park in Harris County, Texas, left a 17-year-old dead. Now, police say three suspects have been arrested in connection to the teen’s murder.
Around 3 p.m. on Feb. 14, deputies said a fight took place at Malcolm E. Beckendorff Park in Katy, Texas.
Officials said the fight involved between 11 and 18 students who attend Paetow High School. During the fight, two people were stabbed and four others were injured, police said.
Police said they found bats and knives at the scene and some car windows were broken with the bats, Click 2 Houston reported. Reports stated the fight stemmed over two girls.
Two of the victims were taken to the Memorial Hermann Hospital by helicopter, officials said. On Feb. 20, Marlon Robinson was pronounced dead.
Officials said one juvenile is facing murder charges, as two others – one adult and another juvenile – were also charged, but officials did not specify the charges, Click 2 Houston reported. The suspects' names have not been released.
Police said one of the suspects in the stabbing was taken to a local hospital by ambulance with a dislocated shoulder and non-life-threatening injuries, but he is now in custody.
