Alabama man allegedly killed his father, but police have not said why

An Alabama man has been arrested after he allegedly killed his father, but police have not released a motive.
Around 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 8, the DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office received a call of a possible homicide on Country Road 155 in Higdon, Alabama.
When investigators responded to process the scene, they found Joseph Xavior Register, 52, dead, according to the sheriff's office.
After an investigation, Cody Alexander Register, 25, was charged with murder. But, investigators have not said what led them to accuse Cody Register or a possible motive.
Police say Joseph Register is Cody Register’s father.
Cody Register is currently being held in the DeKalb County Detention Center on a $500,000 bond.
