Man accused of killing his brother over property dispute, Alabama police said
A man is accused of killing his brother in a property dispute, authorities in Alabama said.
Jason Chad Turner, 24, is accused of killing his brother on Oct. 29, according to WHNT.
Limestone County Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to a property dispute that ended with a shooting, according to the report. Jason Turner called police to say his brother, George Turner, was on his property.
Deputies said Jason confronted George and shot him twice, according to WHNT. George Turner was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators had not said why Jason did not want his brother on his property.
Jason Turner was arrested and charged with murder, according to WHNT. He was booked into the Limestone County Detention Center and is being held without bail.
