11-Year-Old Died After Being Shot In His Alabama Home, Police Say They Nabbed The Killer
An 11-year-old boy was shot in his Alabama home and now police say they have arrested his suspected killer.
Around 8 p.m. on May 30, police in Mobile, Alabama, responded to a home for a shooting at the R.V. Taylor Plaza.
An 11-year-old boy was shot in the incident, according to WKRG. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he died. The boy was identified as Lequinten Morrisette.
The boy was inside the home and WKRG stated that there were bullet holes in nearby vehicles.
Hours after the shooting, police arrested Cameron Walker in connection to the shooting. Tips helped lead police to the suspect, according to the report. Walker was charged with felony murder and discharging a gun into an occupied dwelling.
Investigators have not said if the boy was targeted or released a possible motive in the shooting.
