Victim Shot Dead In Alabama, Police Arrested A Suspect And Working To Determine A Motive

A man has been charged in connection to a fatal shooting in Alabama as police say they are working to determine the motive.

Last week, police were dispatched to a home near Albertville, Alabama. When officers arrived, they found a 30-year-old man with gunshot wounds.

The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to Albertville police. The victim was identified as Brandon Charles Bennett.

Investigators named Michael Wayne Childress, 24, as a suspect. He was arrested a few hours after the incident.

Police said they are working to determine a motive in the case. There are no other suspects in the crime.

Authorities charged Childress with murder and he was booked into jail.
