One of the Good Samaritans died, and now the woman faces a murder charge.
On Nov. 12, police in Albuquerque, New Mexico, arrested Anjanette Martinez following a stand-off with SWAT members, according to police. She was charged in connection to the April murder of Miguel Sanchez.
The killing happened at a Quality Inn and Suites, police said.
Martinez told detectives she took items from a motel room, police stated. She said two people, including Sanchez, tried to stop her as she left in a vehicle. Shots were then fired from the vehicle, killing Sanchez.
Martinez was charged with an open count of murder. Earlier this month, Mathew Martinez was also charged with murder. He was in the vehicle Anjanette Martinez tire to leave in.
