Female Employee Found Dead in Walk-in Freezer at Fast-Food Restaurant Arby’s in Louisiana
An Arby’s restaurant employee in Louisiana worker got a shock when they found the body of a colleague in a walk-in freezer, authorities said.
“A situation like this is unusual, so we’re taking extra precautions during the investigation," New Iberia Police Captain Leland Laseter said. "[We] pretty much have completed our process at the crime scene.”
According to Laseter, the body belonged to a female employee and investigators do no believe foul play was involved in her death, KXAS-TV reported.
“After completely processing the crime scene... this does not seem like a homicide, it seems like an accident,” the police chief said.
The employee was found dead during business hours on the evening of May 11 at the fast-food restaurant that’s in a shopping center.
Autopsy results are pending.
