Man died after being hit by car, suspect arrested for murder, cops say
A woman was arrested after a man was hit by a vehicle and killed, according to a report.
Around 11:15 a.m. on March 14, 24-year-old Robert King was seen on the hood of a vehicle driving west from an apartment complex in Tucson, Arizona, according to KVOA.
After King fell from the vehicle, the driver ran away from the scene.
The driver was later identified as Lia Lara, 35, according to KOVA.
She was taken in custody at a nearby business, according to the report. King was found in the road and pronounced dead at the scene.
Police charged Lara with second-degree murder, leaving the scene of a fatality and DUI, according to the report.
