One dead, two hurt in drive-by shooting in Arkansas. Police arrest two teens in connection to case.
One person died during a drive-by shooting and now Arkansas police say two people are charged in connection to the murder.
According to Little Rock Police Department investigators, Lakaila Scarver and Yacariel Davis, 18, were involved in the fatal incident around 1 a.m. April 10.
Scarver allegedly fired from her vehicle into another, striking and killing a juvenile and wounding two others.
After a preliminary investigation, police arrested the teenagers the following morning around 8 a.m. and booked them into the Pulaski County Detention Center.
Police have not revealed a motive for the shoooting.
Both suspects are expected to be charged with capital murder, and Scarver faces an additional felony count of discharging a firearm from a vehicle and two counts of committing a terroristic act, Little Rock’s KLRT-TV reported.
A judge ordered both be held without bond.
Since they are being charged with capital murder, the two could face the death penalty.
