Arkansas man charged after cops find hit-and-run victim's body in the back of his truck: report

An Arkansas man hit a cyclist with his pickup truck and killed the victim, police said. When they tracked down the suspect, they found the victim in the bed of his vehicle.
Authorities reportedly found a human body part on the scene, but most of the remains were gone, police said.
Officers in Fort Smith, Arkansas, responded to a report of a bicyclist hit around 8 p.m. on Feb. 18, according to Fort Smith police.
Police closed the intersection for several hours while they investigated. Investigators reviewed surveillance footage and identified 42-year-old James Ray Jones as the suspect, according to police. They reportedly found the pickup truck in the backyard of his home with the victim’s body in the truck bed.
The victim's name has not been released.
Officers spoke to Jones, who gave a full confession and was arrested, according to police. He was charged with manslaughter and leaving the scene of a personal injury accident. He was booked in to the Sebastian County jail.
