Man Found Shot Dead At Arkansas Home, Suspect Arrested At The Scene
A man faces a murder charge after shooting a person to death in Arkansas, police said.
Around 7 p.m. on April 7, deputies from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office in Arkansas were sent to a home for a reported shooting.
When police arrived, they found an unresponsive man who had been shot, according to the sheriff’s office. The victim was identified as Anthony Alexander, 33.
Alexander was pronounced dead at the scene, according to the sheriff’s office.
Deputies detained a person of interest at the scene and he was identified as Charlie Andrew Irvin, 51.
He was later arrested and charged with capital murder and tampering with evidence.
