Woman Arrested, Man At Large After Victim In Tennessee Found Dead On Road, Sheriff Says
A woman is under arrest and a second suspect is on the run in connection with the deadly shooting of a man dead in the road, authorities in Tennessee said.
On the evening of July 10, the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call about the victim found near McKenzie.
At the scene, deputies located Terry Beard, 49, who was dead from a fatal gunshot wound, WBBJ-TV reported.
Deputies investigating the incident identified 28-year-old Tiffany Grogan of Dresden, Tennessee, and 36-year-old Julian Hardin of Mobile, Alabama, as suspects in the case.
Authorities took Grogan into custody on July 12 and charged her with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery.
Hardin remains at large.
“We believe he has fled the West Tennessee area," Capt. Marty Plunk with the Weakley County Sheriff’s Office said. "We are hoping that we will be able to get help from the public to help us locate this guy."
