Two men arrested after shooting at Texas intersection leaves teen dead: cops

Two suspects have been charged in connection with a shooting at a Texas intersection that left a teen dead, police said.
Around 2:45 p.m. on Jan. 17, officers responded to a report of a shooting at the intersection of access road Central Texas Expressway and Indian Trail in Harker Heights, Texas.
The victim, Ty Andre Gentle, 19, had multiple gunshot wounds and died from his injuries, according to Harker Heights police.
Police say a vehicle with four men drove up behind Gentle’s car and then opened fire at the victim, according to KWTX.
Witnesses saw “different types of guns used in the shooting,” KWTX reported.
On Feb. 11, John Ricardo Scott Jr., 20, was arrested without incident in Wharton, Texas, police said. Scott is being held in the Wharton County Jail, awaiting transport to the Bell County Jail.
On Feb. 12, Jamon Alexander Terry, 19, was taken into custody without incident in Temple, Texas, and is currently in the Bell County Jail.
Both men have been arraigned on murder charges and are being held on $1 million bond.
Investigators have not said what led to the shooting or why the two been are suspected in the killing.
