Texas Couple Arrested For Murder After Autistic 15-Year-Old Boy Found Dead, Police Say
A couple is behind bars in Texas after they allegedly killed an autistic teenager who was in their care, authorities said.
Around 4 a.m. on Oct. 17, officers responded to a call about an unresponsive male at the Brownsville residence of Julie Alexandria Brewington, 27, and her 25-year-old common-law husband, Noe Garza, KRGV reported.
The 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead at the scene. Officers arrested the pair for murder, police said, noting Brewington is the alleged victim’s aunt and she and Garza had custody of the teenager.

“Based on the crime scene, there was foul play involved,” police said.
A judge set bond for each of the suspects at $5 million.
The investigation is ongoing and authorities have not released further details about the murder case, including the cause of death.
