Homicidal Lumberjack Caught Carving up Man's Head With Ax; Victim in Critical Condition, Cops Say
Police in Idaho responding to the report of a violent attack found a man who had been struck in the head with an ax, according to authority.
On May 15, deputies with the Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office went to a residence in Wallace before 10 a.m. and took a nude suspect, later identified as Nicholas D. Johnson, 39, into custody.
The victim, whose name was not released, was rushed to Shoshone Medical and then airlifted to Kootenai hospital, where the sheriff’s office said he remains in critical condition.
Law enforcement officials declined to release further information about the ongoing investigation.
