A 2-Year-Old Girl Blamed Her Babysitter for Giving Her ‘Boo Boos.’ So, He 'Squished' Her to Death.
A jury recently convicted a Pittsburgh man of fatally squeezing his girlfriend’s daughter while babysitting.
Kyrell Morgan, 21, was found guilty of third-degree murder for the death of 2-year-old Brielle Swinton, WPXI reported.

During trial, Morgan testified in his own defense and insisted he “never hurt” the toddler “in any way shape or form.”
An autopsy determined the child’s death in 2021 was the result of someone using extreme force to squeeze the child enough to break her ribs as well as cause lacerations to her organs.
According to WPXI, prosecutors claimed that after Brielle died, Morgan googled “what all comes out in an autopsy,” and he texted the baby’s mother and claimed that “Brielle said I gave her boo-boos, and I squished her.”
After his conviction, Morgan was sentenced to 21.5 years to 43 years behind bars, Trib Live reported.
“The behavior involved in this case, squishing to death a 2-year-old child, is extraordinary,” Allegheny County Common Pleas Judge Jill E. Rangos said.
At Morgan's sentencing hearing, Assistant District Attorney Lisa Carey said, “This was a beautiful 2-year-old child who tried to tell (that) the defendant was hurting her. She said in her own words he squished her, and that’s how he later murdered her. He literally squished this beautiful, innocent 2-year-old child to death.”
