Man Phoned 911 Moments After Fatally Shooting His Fiancée, But No Motive Released

A man called 911 to say he shot his fiancée and when police arrived, they found the victim dead, according to a report.
Now, the alleged killer faces a murder charge.
Around 9:30 p.m. on June 12, police in Baltimore responded to a home after George Kuhn, 43, called 911 to say he shot his fiancée, according to authorities. Officers arrived and found a 36-year-old woman with a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim was identified as Kristy Helmert, according to police.
Kuhn was arrested at the scene, though police did not say what led to the shooting.
He was charged with first- and second-degree murder and booked into jail.
