A Tennessee man is behind bars on a second-degree murder charge after he allegedly ran over a man and killed him while behind the wheel of an SUV, authorities said.
Around 10:15 p.m. on Jan. 28, police in Memphis found the victim, identified as Krishun Smith, under a GMC Envoy, WHBQ-TV reported.
Smith was pronounced dead from his injuries about 40 minutes later an area hospital.
Police said witnesses alleged Willie “Big Man” Fitzgerald, 39, was driving the black 2005 vehicle when it struck Smith.
