Flexible Felon: Burglar Caught Doing Yoga Stretches Before Breaking Into Bakery, Cops Say
A bakery in Australia released security footage that showed an alleged burglar outside doing yoga in the middle of the night to limber up before breaking in earlier this month.
Phillippa's Bakery shared the security footage, which showed a woman dressed all in black on a sidewalk outside their location in Richmond, a suburb of Melbourne in the state of Victoria, around 3 on a recent morning.
The woman can be seen on the ground stretching through several yoga poses.
"We were quite surprised when we saw the security footage from a recent break in at our Bakery HQ. Seems like yoga is a must before breaking in," the bakery wrote alongside the video on Instagram on March 17, which can be seen here.
"A few things were stolen including some croissants which were clearly too tempting for this flexible burglar," the bakery wrote.
According to 9News, the 44-year-old woman was arrested and charged with theft, burglary and going equipped to steal.
