Owners of Care Facility Accused Of Abusing Disabled Residents. Police Say There Could Be More Victims.

The owners of a California adult care facility are accused of abusing disabled residents, police said.
Authorities said there are possibly more victims in the case.
On Oct. 1, officers from the Apple Valley Police Department in California responded to the care facility on Algonquin Road, according to authorities. There was a report of a disabled adult being abused.
Police confirmed the abuse and found two additional victims. Authorities said the victims were 36, 37 and 29 years old.
The suspects were identified as Usha Martin and Bhagwan Gill, the co-owners of the facility. They were both arrested and charged with dependent adult abuse. Both were released after posting bail.
