Man Accused Of Setting Fire To Car Killing 1, Arrested The Same Day At Homeless Camp

A man is accused of setting fire to a vehicle and killing one person, police said.
Around 6:15 a.m. on July 31, San Jose police and San Jose fire crews responded to a reported vehicle fire.
Once the fire was extinguished, police found the body of a dead man. The victim’s name has not been released, according to police.
Investigators started to look at the case and determined the vehicle was set on fire.
Martin Cabrera, 50, was identified as the suspect and he was arrested the same day at a homeless camp.
Authorities have not said how they tied Cabrera to the case or a possible motive.
