A 32-year-old man posed as a woman on a dating app in Los Angeles and lured three men to his place, where police say he drugged and sexually assaulted them.
According to the victims, the men responded to an online dating app thinking they were talking with a woman, the Los Angeles Police Department said.
During the communications, the female sent pictures and “sexually suggestive texts” to the victims, making them believe they were going to her place to engage in sex, police said.
However, once they got to the house, they were met by 32-year-old Aadrian Evelyn, who said he was a friend of the woman.
Detectives said they determined Evelyn was pretending to be a single woman through photos and texts in order to lure the men to his apartment.
At the apartment, officials believe Evelyn drugged the victims and sodomized them while they were unconscious.
Authorities used statements from the victims and DNA evidence to link Evelyn to the assaults.
This week, Evelyn was arrested for three separate sexual assault charges, police said. He remains in police custody and is being held on $300,000 bail.
According to authorities, they believe there may be more victims and are hoping the arrest of Evelyn will encourage them to report their experience.
Officials said any additional victims or anyone with information regarding this case should contact Central Sex Detective Stanziale at 213-996-1837.
