A man gave a wide grin to a police camera, despite being booked on a murder charge.
On Aug. 20, police in Richmond, California, responded to a reported shooting. When officers arrived, they found 33-year-old Jeremy Griego with gunshot wounds, according to police.
Medical personnel pronounced him dead at the scene.
Investigators had a video that showed a gray Pontiac leaving the park where the victim was found. Griego was seen getting out of the vehicle with the suspect, Gregory Bonner Jr.
They walked into the park and were there for a short time, police said. A fight ensued and Bonner shot the victim.
Police later found Bonner in a vehicle similar to the one on the video.
Bonner was arrested and charged with murder with malice aforethought, according to police.
