California nurse accused of sexually assaulting three patients at hospital

A California nurse is accused of sexually assaulting three female patients while at work in a hospital.
The suspect worked as a nurse for six years in the state.
On June 30, members of the Orange County Sheriff’s Department’s Special Victims Detail arrested Paul Arden Miller, 56, of San Clemente, for sexual elder abuse and sexual battery.
Miller is currently in custody at the Orange County Jail with bail set at $100,000.
Miller was employed at Providence Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo when the incidents occurred, according to the sheriff's department.
In March 2021, a 22-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted by Miller while she was in the emergency room receiving care, the department stated.
In April, a 68-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted by Miller at the same hosptial.
In June, a 56-year-old woman reported she was sexually assaulted by Miller at the hospital where he worked, according to the sheriff's department.
Miller was previously employed at El Centro Regional Medical Center from January 2016 to January 2017, and Sharp Hospital — Chula Vista from December 2014 to May 2015.
