A man was arrested months after a victim was found shot dead in his vehicle, California cops say.
On May 13, the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office responded to Camino Park Court for a reported shooting. The caller said a man had been shot inside his vehicle.
Deputies responded and found Lee Darrelle Ross, 41, with a gunshot wound to his upper body, according to the sheriff’s office. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified Stephen Craig Beasley, 37, as the suspect, and he was arrested this week.
No motive in the case has been released.
Beasley was charged with homicide and carrying a loaded unregistered handgun.
