An argument between two men led to a “senseless” murder, officials said.
Last week, police in Fresno, California, announced the arrest of 33-year-old Ian Scarborough in connection to a deadly stabbing.
Around 4:30 p.m. on Oct. 17, police responded to a report of an injured man. When officers arrived, they found 61-year-old Billy Cleveland Carrow with a stab wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators identified Scarborough as the suspect, and he was arrested.
The murder was a “senseless act” of violence that stemmed from an argument, police stated. There was no word on what led to the argument.
Scarborough was charged with murder and booked into jail.
