Two Suspects Arrested In Connection With Murder Of Man Whose Car They Allegedly Were Burglarizing, Deputies Say
A pair in Florida are accused of murder after a car burglary ended with one man dead, authorities said.
Around noon on Sept. 27, deputies with the Orange County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of shots fired in a parking lot.
At the scene, the deputies found Christian Dario Amaro, 40, suffering multiple gunshot wounds.
He was rushed to an area hospital, where he died from his injuries.
Detectives believe multiple people confronted Amaro and shot him while burglarizing his car. Two suspects, Dariun Longstreet, 25, and Corina Angel, 20, were arrested in connection with the case several hours later after investigators followed up on a lead, WKMG-TV reported.
Each faces charges of murder while engaged in a burglary.
