SNACK ATTACK! POLICE ID BURGLARY SUSPECT WHO DROPPED CHEETO BAG DURING BREAK-IN BY CHEESE RESIDUE ON HER TEETH
A case of the munchies may have sealed an Oklahoma burglary suspect’s fate, authorities said.
Around 8 p.m. Feb. 26, a mom of two called 911 to report a woman breaking into her Tulsa house.
Police claimed Sharon Carr used a board to pry off a window screen and get inside the victim’s home but “left before stealing anything or harming anyone.”
However, police said they believed Carr dropped a bottle of water and a bag of Cheetos next to the open window while fleeing.
The victim, who was alone at the home with her children, allegedly identified Carr as the suspect who broke in.

“Carr was further linked to the crime by Cheeto residue on her teeth,” the Tulsa Police Department said.
Carr now faces a charge of first-degree burglary.
The incident is “a good reminder that Cheeto dust can be pretty hard to get rid of,” TPD noted.
