A 4-Year-Old Texas Girl Drowned in a Pool. Now, Her Parents and 2 Brothers Have Also Been Found Dead, Cops Say.
4-year-old California girl found dead in car, mother accused of her murder, police said.
A Texas couple and their sons were discovered dead after what investigators believe was a murder-suicide, authorities said.
According to the Allen Police Department, officers responding to a wellbeing call located parents Farman Sherwani and Layla Sherwani and their two boys, Mateen Sherwani, 2, and Shaheen Sherwani, 12, deceased in a home, NBC News reported.
Another resident of the residence was locked out and unable to reach the family for hours, according to police.
“After other family members arrived at the house, police gained access and found four people dead,” officials said.
According to NBC News, the Sherwani’s recently lost a 4-year-old daughter after she drowned in a swimming pool.
Allen Police Sgt. Jonathan Maness told the outlet via email that the child’s death three weeks ago “is believed to be a factor” in the possible murder-suicide.
The investigation is ongoing.
