Ohio Couple Accused Of Murdering 5-Year-Old Daughter After They Brought Her To Hospital Weighing 21 Pounds Days After She Died
The parents of a 5-year-old girl in Ohio were recently placed under arrest in connection with the starvation death of the child, authorities said.
Officials said Janicea Brooks, 24, and 32-year-old Collyn Green face murder charges after they brought their daughter, Kamryn Riley, to the Rainbow Babies and Children’s Hospital in Cleveland on March 22 after she was already dead for at least two days, WOIO reported.
According to the television station, prosecutors claim Kamryn weight had plummeted to 21 pounds by the time she died.
Both Brooks and Green were each being held on $500,000 bond.
The child reportedly was living with three other siblings when she died.
