DEMANDING ANSWERS: FAMILY OF FLIGHT ATTENDANT ALLEGEDLY SLAIN WANT VIDEO FOOTAGE FROM HOTEL WHERE SHE DIED
The family and legal team of allegedly raped and murdered flight attendant Christine Angelica Dacera is demanding the hotel where she was partying on New Year's Eve provide additional closed-circuit television footage, in order to determine what exactly transpired the night of her death.
Dacera's lawyer, Jose Ledda III, told Philippine news that, despite recent reports of Dacera being caught on one of the Makati's City Garden Hotel's cameras kissing one of the 11 suspects in her case, the footage that they currently have isn't sufficient to get the entire story — and they need more to put the pieces together.

"We are also asking for additional footages from different angles of the hotel because what the public saw in the social media and news items, was only a view of the particular site of the hotel,” he noted.
The video he references shows Dacera, barefoot and holding a wine glass, moving between hotel rooms with at least three men, kissing one that was wearing shorts and a baseball cap.
She was found by one of her colleagues the next morning, lying in the bathtub. Thinking she was asleep, he returned to bed himself. However, when he woke up several hours later, he claims he found her unconscious and turning blue. After attempting to revive her, her colleagues had her rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead upon arrival.

The initial autopsy stated Dacera died of a ruptured aortic aneurysm, but police believe she was raped and that the aneurysm was a result of the trauma she endured. On Monday, officials filed a provisional charge of rape with homicide against the 11 men who were with her at the hotel.
One of the accused men in the case, Gregorio de Guzma, however says this could not be the case, as he is gay... and, according to him, so is nearly everyone else Dacera was partying with that night.
"I never had sex with any woman ever in my life,” Guzman told local news, and estimated that at least eight out of the 11 accused are also gay.
Dacera's mother, Sharon Rose Dacera, told the Manila Bulletin earlier that, whatever transpired, she thinks the murder was premeditated. "They planned this. They treated my daughter like a pig,” she said.
