A Cincinnati woman who police say beat a man with his own cane is facing murder and aggravated robbery charges, according to WXIX.
Tiffany Carr, 29, was indicted by a grand jury on April 29.
Assistant Prosecuting Attorney Amy Clausing said that on Nov. 6, 2021 Carr beat James Thompson to death with his cane during a dispute over money WXIX reports. Thompson died from the strain put on his heart during the attack.
Thompson suffered from cardiovascular disease, though Clausing said he "would not have died if it weren't for the defendant's actions," according to WXIX.
Carr is housed at the Hamilton County Justice Center with no bond.
