Armed Told 911 Dispatchers He Had Killed A Woman And Child, Police Then Rushed To The Home.

A man in Colorado claimed he had just killed a woman and child. Luckily, when police arrived, they found the two unhurt and now the suspect faces criminal charges, police said.
This week, the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office in Colorado announced charges against Zerk Marshlin Bears. He faces numerous charges, including first-degree attempted murder and menacing.
He is being held in jail on $150,000 bond.
Around 3:30 p.m. on Oct. 8, deputies responded after a man called 911 and said he had just killed a woman and child, according to the sheriff’s office. When deputies arrived, they contacted the woman and child outside the home.

The woman said the suspect, later identified as Bears, pointed a gun at her as he made the threats to dispatchers, authorities said. He then pointed the gun at the 3-year-old child.
The woman fled the home and reported hearing gunshots. Police said the two victims were not hurt in the incident.
Deputies surrounded the home and had to use a Taser to take Bears into custody.
