A Colorado man has been arrested, as police say he sexually assaulted two different women in two days.
Around 3 p.m. Nov. 6, the Colorado Springs Police Department said officers were dispatched to the 2900 block of Delta Drive for a reported sexual assault.
When police arrived, they found the female victim, who was taken to a local hospital, officials said. An investigation of the scene showed police the suspect was a white male driving a red truck.
Around 12:30 p.m. on Nov. 7, police said they were again dispatched to the 2900 block of Delta Drive for a sexual assault, but on a different adult female, who was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
As police investigated that assault, officers gt a photo of the suspect’s vehicle, which allowed them to identify the person as 28-year-old Justin Kelty.
A search warrant was issued at Kelty’s home and police said they found evidence related to the crimes. Kelty was arrested in connection to both incidents.
Kelty is a convicted sex offender as in 2015 he was convicted of assaulting a child under 15 years old. He is now being held without bond.
