Man Found Shot Dead At His Fiancé's Property, Police Say Family Friend Pulled The Trigger

A man was shot to death on his fiancé’s property, and now police said a family friend is responsible.
The shooting happened on Aug. 13 in Costilla County, Colorado.
Jesus Lozano was shot at a rural property owned by his fiancé, according to the Costilla County Sheriff’s Office. He was taken to the hospital, where he died.

Police investigated and identified Rondell W. Brown as a suspect. He was recently arrested in connection to the case, according to the sheriff’s office.
Investigators said there was a disturbance at the home before the shooting. Brown is a family acquaintance. Though authorities did not say what led to the disturbance or what it was over.
Brown was charged with second-degree murder and three counts of felony mincing. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
