Police hunt for armed suspect after shooting kills man, leaves teen on life support
Police are searching for an armed suspect after a shooting in Colorado left one person dead and a teen on life support.
Officers are trying to find Paul Anthony Delgado Jr., 42, who is suspected in the shooting. He faces a first-degree murder charge.
Around 9 a.m. on March 28, police in Greeley, Colorado, responded to a reported shooting in an alley. The witness said a man was down and a man was running from the scene.
Officers arrived and found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to the head, according to Greeley police. That victim was taken to the hospital and remains on life support.
Police continued to check around the scene of the shooting and found a second shooting victim in the driver’s seat of a parked car, according to Greeley police. That unnamed victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
Delgado was identified as a suspect, but police have not said if he knew the victims.
Police said Delgado should be considered armed with at least one handgun. He could be driving a dark blue 2012 Dodge Ram with a Colorado Disabled Veterans license plate. Anyone who sees him should call 911.
