Teen Shot Dead After Rejecting Walgreen Coworker's Advances: Reports

A shooting at a Colorado Walgreens left a teenager person dead and now a 28-year -old faces murder charges.
Last week, police in Colorado Springs, Colorado, announced the arrest of Joshua Taylor Johnson in connection to the case.
According to KKTV, 16-year-old Riley Whitelaw told store managers in 2021, Johnson was making advances and she was uncomfortable.

On June 11, police responded to the Colorado Springs store and found the teen dead in the break room.
Whitelaw had a neck injury and there was blood all over the room, according to KKTV.
One of the managers who called 911 said Riley went into the break room earlier in the day and never returned, according to the report. That is when he checked the room and found the dead teen.
Johnson was arrested the next day about 100 miles from the crime scene. He told state troopers he was attacked in the incident, according to the report. But police learned he was a suspect and arrested him.
