Suspect Pulls Gun On Customers At Family Dollar Who Did Not Thank Him For Holding Door

A man was so upset that two women did not thank him for holding the door that he pulled out a gun, police said.
This week, police in Hamden, Connecticut, announced the arrest of Joshua Murray, 25, in connection to the case.
Around 3:15 p.m. on July 16, police responded to a Family Dollar Store for a report of a man reporting a gun at customers.
Witnesses said the suspect was upset two women did not thank him for holding the door open, police said.
Officers quickly found the suspect, Murray, nearby and he was arrested. Police said they found a gun on him.
Authorities charged Murray with carrying a pistol without a permit, two counts of second-degree breach of peace and interfering with a police officer. He was booked in to jail on $25,000 bond.
