A couple allegedly sold their 8-month-old baby to help them generate money to buy an iPhone and make content for Instagram, according to authorities.

She allegedly told police that she and her husband had sold their infant baby to a woman living in the same village. The couple wanted to use the money from the sale of their baby to buy an iPhone, travel around and shoot content for Instagram reels, authorities said.
