Michigan Man Accused Of Murdering Lover With Crossbow At Home
In the exact opposite of the Cupid legend, a Michigan man is charged with murdering his lover with a crossbow.
Police in Battle Creek have accused Joel Wagner, 59, of attacking Kori-Lee Moser, 44, at their home April 2. Moser died after being rushed to an area hospital.
“There is no known motive for the crossbow shooting at this time,” the Battle Creek Firefighters Union said.
But a Battle Creek city spokesman claimed narcotics may be involved in Moser’s death. Authorities are waiting for the results of forensic tests.
Wagner and Moser lived together for two years, Battle Creek Police said.
