A Woman Was Found Dead And Wrapped In A Tarp. Police Say They Arrested The Suspect Killer.
A woman was reported missing and later found dead wrapped in a tarp along the road. Now, police say they have arrested her suspected killer.
On April 20, Dallas police responded to a reported body being found. When they arrived, they saw a woman wrapped in a plastic tarp on the side of the street. Additional officers were called and processed the scene.
On April 21, the victim was identified as Juanita Rodriguez, according to Dallas police.
Her death was classified as a murder because she died from a gunshot wound, police noted.
Rodrigues was reported missing on April 16 to the Duncanville police in Texas.
A couple of days later, Rodriguez’s vehicle was found abandoned in Dallas, police said.
This week, Dallas police announced they arrested Clinton Smith, 65, for her murder. But police have not said how they tied him to the case.
Smith is being held in jail.
