A woman in Alabama has been arrested after an alleged feud on social media ended with a deadly shooting, officials said.
On Aug. 11, police responded to a call in Semmes in reference to a shooting, according to the Mobile County Sheriff’s Office.
Once at the scene, officers found the victim, 23-year-old Honesty Shacole Holloway-Wilkerson, deceased, officials said.
The second victim, 14-year-old Germany Holloway-Wilkerson was found down the street at a neighbor’s home suffering from a gunshot wound to the right thigh.
Witnesses told investigators they went with 22-year-old Curtellius Tenise Tapaingea James to a local restaurant, and when they got back, James’ belongings were in the yard, her vehicle had been keyed and all four tires were flat, police said.
The Holloway-Wilkerson sisters then arrived on the scene and started arguing with James, who allegedly shot the older sister in the chest with a shotgun and then fired at the teen as she was fleeing the scene, hitting her in the thigh, according to authorities.
