Man Allegedly Pulls Rifle On Kids Riding Bikes, But Why Remains A Mystery
A man pulled a gun on kids riding bicycles and now he faces criminal charges, police said.
Around 6:30 p.m. on June 2, police in Harrington, Delaware, were told of an incident where a man drove near four minors riding bikes.
When the suspect approached, he pointed a black rifle at the victims, according to police.
The minors all fled the area and one told a parent, who called 911, police said.
The suspect was identified as Justin Williams, 20. Witnesses gave police a license plate number, which helped police identify the suspect.
Williams was arrested at his home and police found a .22-caliber rifle.
Officers charged Williams with four counts of aggravated menacing, possession of a weapon in a school safe zone, carrying a concealed deadly weapon and possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony.
Investigators have not said why Williams allegedly pulled the gun on the kids.
