Man Found Stabbed To Death In Delaware Motel, Suspect Arrested In Another State
One person was stabbed to death in a Delaware motel and now police said they arrested the alleged killer in Maryland.
Around 2:45 p.m. on April 10, troopers responded to the Super Lodge in New Castle, Delaware, for a reported stabbing, according to Delaware State Police. When troopers arrived, they found Michael White, 45, outside the facility with a stab wound.
He was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Troopers identified Frank Deshields as a suspect in the case, and last week, he was arrested in Maryland.
He was charged with first-degree murder and weapons counts. Deshields is being held in a Maryland jail pending his extradition to Delaware.
Police have not said how the suspect knew the victim or what led to the alleged stabbing.
